The shape of the top and bottom are been determined per the site requirements or service conditions. It can be flat, dome or cone.
The FRP tanks can be designed as a “dual-laminae” vessel with a thermoplastic liner as a solution to resist very aggressive chemicals and high design temperatures. The choosing of the right liner is been done in cooperation with the customer and liner suppliers’ labs.
Among available liner materials are: PP, PVC, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP and others.
Despite most of the tanks are vertical, BEL has a vast experience with horizontal tanks been installed on saddles.
